We understand that plans can change. Ready Rides offers a full refund for cancellations made at least 72 hours before your rental start time. Cancellations made within 72 hours are non-refundable. For weather-related concerns, please contact us directly. Credits or rescheduling options may be available on a case-by-case basis.

Golf carts rented from Ready Rides may be driven on roads where the posted speed limit is 35 mph or lower, in accordance with North Carolina state laws. Carts must follow all standard traffic rules. Parking is only permitted in legal golf cart-accessible areas. Tickets may be issued for violations. Carts may not be driven on sidewalks, beaches, or bike paths. Driving after dark is permitted only if your cart is equipped with headlights and taillights.

Renters are responsible for any tickets, fines, or violations incurred during the rental period. If a ticket is not paid within the required time, Ready Rides may charge your credit card for the full amount plus an administrative fee. We recommend checking posted signs and parking only in designated areas for golf carts.

Our electric golf carts typically have a range of 25–30 miles per full charge, which is more than enough for a full day of exploring Oak Island, Southport, and surrounding areas. To keep your cart running smoothly, we ask that you plug it in whenever it's not in use and overnight. All rentals come with an easy-to-use charger that plugs into a standard outlet, and we'll show you exactly how to use it when we deliver your car

We recommend booking your golf cart a minimum of 2–3 weeks in advance for peak season rentals (May through August and holidays), as availability is limited and demand is high. For off-season dates, 3–5 days in advance is usually sufficient, but sooner is always better to secure your preferred cart and delivery time.
